The automotive industry is vital to Queensland’s economy. It is made up of nearly 15,500 businesses and employs more than 90,000 people working in businesses such as car dealerships, mechanical workshops, smash repairers and service stations. The Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTA Queensland) is the peak body representing the interests of these employers in the retail, service and repair sectors of Queensland’s automotive industry.

Lysa is a marketing and communications specialist bringing 30 years of experience developed in an extensive landscape of workplaces. She has held senior management roles in marketing, business development and communications in the high-end corporate private sector (law, accounting and human resources), hospitality and non-for-profit member associations for youth and automotive.
James is an ICT Leader, Business Intelligence Analyst, and Internal Consultant who has held senior roles in the ICT sector over the last 10 years. With a wealth of expertise in process automation, innovation and change management, James has been at the forefront of technology adoption. James’ industry experience has been primarily private and not-for-profit organisations within the education, workforce management, and small-to-medium enterprise.
Nathan is the Community Manager for MTAiQ, Australia’s first automotive innovation hub, which has been established by the Motor Trades Association of Queensland. A resourceful innovator and entrepreneur, Nathan has over 10 years of experience working in the automotive industry.
